SiiF builds automated finishing equipment for iron, aluminum, and steel alloy foundries, and EMI represents the line in the American market. The whole finishing sequence, cooling through final inspection and cut-off, runs as engineered cells rather than manual stations.
Six Equipment Areas, One Point of Contact
- Controlled cooling: engineered cooling manages the move from shakeout to finishing, protecting casting integrity and line rhythm.
- Decoring: retained sand comes out of cored castings systematically, before it slows the finishing line.
- Robotic deburring: five cell lines, MOV, ECO, EVO, FLEX, and HEAVY, deliver consistent results at production volume.
- Trimming: trim presses handle flash removal and edge cleanup on aluminum and non-ferrous castings at volume.
- Vision and quality inspection: automated inspection sits inside the finishing sequence, catching defects while correction is still efficient.
- Sawing and pre-machining: castings are cut and prepared to the dimensional accuracy downstream operations require.
All robotic cells offer offline programming. A new part program can be implemented without stopping the cell. Sales, service, training, and spare parts all come through EMI and SiiF USA.
