At Fall River Foundry, EMI developed a custom 2024 flaskless match plate molding and mold handling system, while preserving their existing infrastructure. Designed and built in Cleveland, OH, the system was tailored to meet specific plant requirements, including uneven floor elevations, limited aisle space, and ergonomic access for molding, pouring, and casting removal. EMI also created a mold handling layout that operates efficiently alongside existing floor molding systems while keeping primary aisles clear. This project further demonstrates EMI’s ability to design custom solutions to fit a foundries production line, while increasing production flexibility, safety and accessibility. EMI continues to provide high-performance molding, pouring, cooling, and core equipment solutions built in the USA.
